Metal Stamping is an automated process where tags or nameplates are punched out of sheet metal using heavy duty punch presses and specially made metal stamping dies. Great efficiency is achieved by eliminating manual operations that would otherwise be required to produce the same finished products.
What is it used for:
Inland Products utilizes metal stamping whenever possible because it is the most efficient method of producing metal tags and nameplates in large quantities. All of our stock products are produced this way and we can make custom dies for our customers that require a special size or shape in large enough quantities to justify the cost of making the die.
